Description 

 

The incident of allergies and allergic reactions have been increasing in the UK. Allergies can cause severe life threatening allergic reactions called Anaphylaxis. It is estimated that 21 million people in the UK suffer from at least one type of allergy. Up to 8% of children and 2% of adults are diagnosed with a food allergy. Although there are no cures for food allergies, having the information about the allergen contents in the food prior to ordering and eating food can help us make correct and potentially life saving decisions about what to order and what to eat.

Certification

 

A certificate of attendance from MEDISAFE TRAINING will be emailed within 48 hours to the lead person subject to successful completion of the course by the delegate. Hard copy certificates can be provided at additional cost per certificate.

 

 

Important Information

 

Please note that it is a requirement that candidates must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline and must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment.

 

Candidates should have good English literacy and numeracy skills to understand the course and to complete the assessments.

 

Please also note that  ID will need to be checked at the outset of the course for candidate verification process.

 

  • The training room should be quiet and of appropriate size.
  • Staff should be off work and not expected to be on duty.
  • Staff attending should remain on the course for the entire duration of the training course.
